Laurie Fleck Named FLM Harvest President and CEOSteve Zabka Promoted to Chief Operating Officer
FLM Harvest has named a new president and chief executive officer: Laurie Fleck, a 25-year communications veteran and the agency’s former chief operating officer.
“Laurie’s steadfast presence and leadership have been key during this time of tremendous growth and change at FLM Harvest,” said Ted Priebe, chair of FLM Harvest’s Board of Advisors.
This year, FLM Harvest introduced its new branding and positioning as a strategic consulting, marketing and communications agency for agriculture, food and lifestyle brands and organizations. Today, more than 80 team members offer a full suite of services, including advertising, PR, social media, digital, strategy, research and creative. This strategic focus has helped the agency earn new clients and increased business from existing clients.
“Laurie has not only served as the agency’s COO the past two years, but also its interim president the past eight months,” Priebe added. “Her combined strengths in operations and account strategy make her an excellent chief executive and guiding voice for FLM Harvest.”
Prior to FLM Harvest, Laurie led internal communications for Syngenta Seeds NA and held a variety of senior management roles at major agri-food communication and consulting agencies. An Iowa State grad, Laurie’s extensive experience includes animal health, food production systems, packaged goods and production agriculture.
Laurie and her husband, Tom, live in Chanhassen, Minn. and have two children, Ryan and Reagan.
